Oil prices fall in Asian trade

SINGAPORE: Oil prices fell in Asian trade Monday on demand concerns after the US economy performed below expectations in the fourth quarter, dealers said.
New York's main futures contract, light sweet crude for April delivery, fell 80 cents to 43.96 dollars a barrel. Brent North Sea crude for April shed 75 cents to 45.60 dollars per barrel.
